Yes! Kintetsu is SO much better in Kansai than JR for some reason!

Ramen media question, if I wanted to pick up a copy of TRY on my next visit in a couple weeks is that still available to pick up and where could I pick it up? Is there any other ramen media (image heavy, ideally) that you may recommend?
400+ a year. I wonder what your most visited shop is. The owner probably knows you by name if you visited like the same shop for usual daily ramen by now

I visited Muteppou in Tokyo just after the pandemic and was disappointed to learn that they switched to a Tsukemen style. I definitely prefer their ramen. Nice to know that other parts of Japan have Muteppou as well (and Gumshara in Australia, of course).
Why do you pronounce Tsukemen not the Japanese way?
I wonder that too lol, I thought I was the only one that noticed the odd pronunciation.
What do you mean? Hes saying it exactly right. Maybe youre confused because he says it faster so the TSU part isnt as drawn out.

Break Beats was one of my highlights of my last trip. His other restaurant in Shinjuku, Afro Beats, was also amazing, and I didn't have to fight to get a reservation! I'm drooling now. 🤤
